HOW CAN I SEND A PARCEL?

Call 444 99 99 Alo Yurtici Kargo or the nearest branch among 540 branches in Turkey by
17:30 at latest. Our courriers come to your address and show you their authorization certificate. They pick up the cargo by presenting the “Warehouse Delivery Receipt”. All commercial goods must be handed in with their invoice or waybills.

If you want, you can take your parcel to the closest branch until 18:00 at latest.

 

UNTIL WHEN DO YOU DELIVER FROM ADDRESS?
Call 444 99 99 Alo Yurtici Kargo or the nearest branch among 540 branches in Turkey by
17:30 at latest.

 

UNTIL WHEN DO YOU ACCEPT SHIPMENTS?
Take your parcel to the closest branch until 18:00 at latest. If you can’t make it until 18:00, take your parcel to any of our on-duty branch by 20:00 at latest. These cargos will be sent on the same day.

 

HOW DOES THE PRICING OF SHIPMENTS APPLY?
  We first price the cargo according to weight or deci measures considering the higher measurement.
  Then we determine the distance between the destination and the point where you send your cargo via our distance ruler.
  We calculate the transportation price from “Transportation Fee List” based on the distance we found.
  If your cargo is not included in the class to be carried under special conditions, we add the insurance cost to be paid as per weight/deci interval to the delivery price.
  We add cargo delivery/receipt price according to the type of service you use (direct from door, direct from the branch, door to door etc.) and according to the traffic status of the destination to the transportation price plus the insurance cost.
  We lastly reach the final price by adding VAT amount to the total amount we have.
  We can demand the cargo cost from the recipient as per your request.

 

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT OF THE PACKAGES ACCEPTED BY YOUR SERVICE POINTS?
Your dispatches of maximum 100 kg and maximum 3 m per piece are picked from your address and delivered to their addressees within our delivery zones.

 

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT OF THE DOCUMENTS ACCEPTED IN YOUR FOLDER BAGS?
We transport document, files and small packages up to 1 kg in our Folder Bags.

 

DO YOU DELIVER CASH OR VALUABLE DOCUMENTS?
Money, letter, check and promissory note, restaurant tickets, lottery tickets, and gold and ornamental jewelry that have been enclosed in an envelope or another case are not transported due to imposition by laws.

 

ARE ALL MY PARCELS DELIVERABLE WITH INSURANCE FEE ?
All your parcels that are not included within the conditionally transported shipment list of Yurtici Kargo are under the guarantee of our company and insured as from the delivery time of the shipment until its delivery to addressee.

 

HOW DO YOU FIX THE INSURANCE FEE ?
The insurance fee is fixed according to the weight or volume of your parcels.

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DELIVER MY SHIPMENT ?
We deliver your cargo to close (up to 200 km.) and short ( between 201-600 km.) distances in 24 hours; to medium (between 601 – 1000 km. ) and long (more than 1000 km.) distances within 48 hours. However even the distances from cities like Adana, Antalya, Kayseri and Samsun to Istanbul are more than 600 km, we can deliver your cargos to addresses in these cities within 24 hours.

 

WHAT KIND OF PARCELS REQUIRE WAYBILL OR INVOICE ?
All commercial organizations are required to give waybills for all dispatches apart from folders. In case of non-delivery of such document, a protocol may be imposed by finance authorities during audits..

 

ARE ALL MY PARCELS DELIVERABLE TO ADDRESS ?
Although we have service points in all our city centers, we cannot make delivery to each point in Turkey. The number of the settlement areas under our shipment delivery service is increasing day by day and thus delivering us the opportunity to expand our service network. Nevertheless, when you want to send a parcel to places that we cannot make delivery to address, our service points tell you that they cannot make delivery to address, but they will send the shipments to the nearest service point to the address of the addressee by phone notification. When your shipment arrives in our arrival service point, your addressee is called by phone and informed. In this case, your addressee must come and pick the shipment from our service point.

 

WHY DO YOU ASK FOR IDENTITY CARD WHILE DELIVERING ?
The parcels are delivered to the addressees in return for identification card in order to document officially who the delivery is made to in case of any dispute. Moreover, identification is a legal obligation. Among those who have to carry out identification in accordance with announcements published in official gazette dated 31.12.1997 and # 23217; banks, private finance organizations, financial renting companies as well as shipment companies take place, and the identification is done through identity cards, driving licenses or passports.

 

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN THE ADDRESSEE IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE SPECIFIED ADDRESS ?
If our courriers cannot find anyone at the address, he leaves a a ”Delivery Notice” and brings the cargo back to the branch. In this case, receiver or someone authorized by the receiver has to pick up the cargo from the branch in 6 days.

 

HOW LONG DO YOU HOLD UNDELIVERED SHIPMENTS IN YOUR SERVICE POINTS?
If we can not reach the receiver, we keep the cargo for 6 days following the date of arrival to the branch. If no one claims it, we return it back to you.

 

HOW CAN I SEND A SHIPMENT TO CYPRUS ?
We carry your cargo to Cyprus from anywhere in Turkey, and to anywhere in Turkey from Cyprus just like making a delivery within Turkey, without tiring you by any means.

It is enough only to provide a notary approved power of attorney in order that customs operations be executed by Yurtici Cargo on behalf of you (It is applicable to any of your cargos except file and document delivery.

 

CAN I SEND A SHIPMENT AT THE WEEKEND ?
You can have your parcels picked from your address by 15.00 on Saturdays; also you can hand in to our service points by 17.00.Our service points are closed on Sundays.

 

WHAT DO THE ABBREVIATIONS ON YOUR INVOICE LIKE PO-UA/AT-TI SIGNIFY ?
PO (CASH PAYMENT): It means the transport fees of the parcel will be covered by the addresser.
UA (ADDRESSEE CHARGED): It means the transport fee of the parcels shall be charged to the addressee
AT (DIRECT TO DOOR): It means the parcel shall be delivered to the address of the addressee.
TI (CARGO AT CALL): It means when the parcels reach our arrival service point, the addressee will be contacted by phone and the shipments will be picked from our service point by the addressee.

 

WHAT DO THE DIGITS AND R,Z,N LETTERS IN FRONT OF YOUR SERVICE POINT NAMES IN YOUR BROCHURES SIGNIFY ?
The settlement areas are classified into 3 by Yurtici Kargo Servisi A.S. based on their traffic and transportation difficulties as R (Easy), N (Normal), Z (Difficult). For example, the transportation status of service points located in big cities where traffic is high like Istanbul, Ankara is evaluated as Difficult (Z), the transportation status of service points located in less dense cities like Kocaeli, Adana is evaluated as Normal (N), the transportation status of service points located in districts where the traffic is not dense like Karacabey Ayvalik, Nazilli is evaluated as Easy (R). The charges for Delivery from Address (AA) and Delivery to Address (AT) are determined based on this classification. The digits in front of the service point names signify the Regional Directorate of Yurtici Kargo, which a particular service point is connected to.

 

I ‘VE SHOPPED ONLINE BUT I HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT YET, WHAT SHOULD I DO ?
If possible, you can take the invoice number pertaining to Yurtici Kargo from the company you ordered from and call 444 9999 Alo Yurtiçi Kargo. Our customer representatives will deliver you the information about your parcel as soon as possible.

 

CAN YOU MAKE DELIVERY TO MILITARY ZONES ?
No delivery can be made to military zones due to the security rules determined by military. However, you can send your shipment as phone notified or informed.

 

HOW CAN I OWN A YURTICI KARGO SERVICE POINT ?
